Need help with a Mac. No fanboys please?

I’m trying to figure out what is wrong with my Mac. The hard drive was getting full so I shut it down and plugged in my external which is a 1 Tb. But when I turned the Mac back on it started acting up. I could select stuff on the desktop and I could open folders and files, but I can’t move them around by drag and drop. I don’t know how else to mpve stuff to my external hard drive. I have used this external with this Mac several times before and never had this problem.

Also, I’m getting an error on iTunes. It says iTunes can’t open because of unexpected error 13014.

If it matters I have the 13″ white macbook with osx 10.4 snow leopard.

Any insight is appreciated.

system needs space so clean the disk of temp files first

First try running permissions, verify and repair. Than run verify disk.

Also check and in the activity panel and find out how much free space is available via disk usage. What version of iTunes is running?

iphone 4 error 21I try to sync it and it gives me “Some items connot be synced” then it gives me the apps. Then i click ok and it gives me an unknown error (13014). I’ve reinstalled itunes, restarted the iphone and my computer, and all that jeeber jaber i’ve read on forums. I really, really don’t want to restore it. What could be wrong?
